I've never heard of gammon either, although from your post I gather it's something I can't eat so hence I've never discussed it.  Gammon and egg is lovely, although if you've never had it you can't miss it. It's like thick bacon but you won't have eaten that either! You can also have gammon with pineapple, but since I don't like pineapple, I don't have it that way.

I'm sure that when my nephew was in hospital soon after he was born (was in for four weeks and had to have surgery) there was another baby on the ward that was born out of its mums bum due to complications during birth. Complications alright

Andrew was winding me up with pushing noises (yes!  ) over the phone so I'm hardly a contender for the stupidity prize. Well I just rang my brother up and he don't remember it so I might just have miss heard it. Maybe it was the baby was born bottom first? Hmmmm  Sounds about right  Sorry Jules
