And another good one:

 In a contest, four fruits (an apple, a banana, an orange, and a pear) have been placed in four closed boxes (one fruit per box). People may guess which fruit is in which box. 123 people participate in the contest. When the boxes are opened, it turns out that 43 people have guessed none of the fruits correctly, 39 people have guessed one fruit correctly, and 31 people have guessed two fruits correctly. The Question: How many people have guessed three fruits correctly, and how many people have guessed four fruits correctly?

Here's a nice one:

My wife and I recently attended a party at which there were four other married couples. Various handshakes took place. No one shook hands with himself (or herself) or with his (or her) spouse, and no one shook hands with the anyone more then once.
After all the handshakes were over, I asked each person, including my wife, how many hands he (or she) had shaken. To my suprise each gave a different answer. How many hands did my wife shake?

Amy, I think you must have misunderstood the riddle. I can't see why it has to be either of the two possibilities you've given.

And no i've never seen qi. What is it?

Its a quiz-comedy show. And the every question usually has an obvious answer. When a contestant answers that an alarm goes off and everyone makes fun of them, and they lose points. Which is why I said I was expecting that alarm. I knew the answer was going to be wrong, but it was the first obvious answer.
