I'd have thought Newcastle would be quite a bit further north then then carlisle...
I'm sure clubs in the south-west would get both the south and west titles. No idea who though.

Carlisle?
Southampton?
Ipswich?
Plymouth?

I would say Newcastle for North....

Norwich, is that not further East than Ipswich? I'm sure this was a general knowledge question before.....

South has to be Plymouth...... also west??

Norwich and Ipswich both in East Anglia, don't really know which one is further east.

Plymouth is further south than Southampton as well...

Newcastle is furthest north. Carlisle is a common answer but Newcastle is 4-5 miles further north.
Plymouth Argyle is furthest south and west.
Norwich is furthest east.

How many points is a behind worth in Australian Rules Football?

1 point for a behind and 6 for a goal. I know because I usually watch the grand final each year. I always think it's stupid that you get 1 point for missing!

How long (or short!) did cricket's shortest ever test match last?
That is, how many overs?
For a bonus, why was the match so short?

I remember there was a match called off between England and WI because the pitch was dangerous, but since they'd started, it still counted as a test match. I don't remember how long they played though.

Yeah that's the one. West Indies vs England in 1998. England were 17-3 in 10.1 overs and batsmen had already been hit 7 times. The pitch was deemed too dangerous and the match was abandoned.

What is a '40-20' in rugby league?
(Aside from being a possible score!)

This should be easy but there never seems to be much interest here when I post about rugby league so we'll see.
