That wasn't the one I was thinking of. There's another with just two words in their name.

I would guess that it must be someone like Davor Suker. Yugoslavia then Croatia after the split.

I've heard this one. Chester.
Correct. The stadium is on the Wales-England border. The pitch is in Wales but the main stand and offices are in England! This allows them to be classified as an English club and play in the English league.

Cardiff play in the english league..... Cardiff, Swansea, and Wrexham do... but they are Welsh clubs governed by the FAW not the English FA...

To rephrase then, part of their stadium being in England means they are officially classified as an English club and come under the English FA.

To have played for 2 countries at the World Cup I assume it must be someone who has played for Yugoslavia then Croatia or USSR then Russia or something like that. Good question. Now thinking.....

Then again, what about Ferenc Puskas? He obviously played for Hungary when they went to the 1954 final and later on played for Spain. But did he play for Spain at a World Cup. Or Di Stefano around the same time, didn't he change from Argentina to Spain?
