The mind doubts, but the heart never does.

at last, a bit of good news on this thread  I too am pleased, after half an hour trying I managed to get to speak to a human being  on BT

Best wishes to those awaiting hospital appts and to funeral attendees  Make the most of the life you've got  Live each day as if it were your last

Very Happy  It's unbelievable the hoops you have to jump through and the 'menus' to go through on these type of calls before you eventually get to speak to an actual person - so well done you!

That's very true benniebone, and unfortunately it often takes a serious illness to yourself or the death of a loved one, especially at a young age, to make you realise just how precious life is.

X Ray done. My fate is to be decided in 7-10 days
Keep your chin up Connor.  Your friends on MW will be thinking of you. Smile

I'd like to be impartial, but I can't!

I've done all the tests, but I don't want to find out if I have Marfans or not. I want to live my life without that on my conscience. I've never had problems before, and the fact I'd have to surrender my life to this disease is something I never want to do, whether I have it or not. I don't want to quit tennis, I don't want to know I will die earlier then I want if I have it, and I never want to feel like I have to hide the fact I'm fighting a battle I've already lost.

I've already responded to your PM, so the only thing I can add to what I said is to reassure you that, if indeed it does turn out to be the case that you do have this condition, then you will get plenty of support from the folk here on MW because we do care about each other, and I know from my own experience just how invaluable that is.
