Ticket to see Ringo Starr in Auckland in February. I don't really know many (or any even) or his post Beatles songs, but some of his Beatles ones are some of my favourites and this is will almost certainly be the only chance I get in my life to see one of the Beatles for real.

4 Epipens for my son.

One for his backpack.
One to keep in the house.
One to keep in my mum's house when visiting.
One to keep in our trailer/caravan when camping.

Cost = $400.
Life-safety= Priceless.

What's he allergic to Linda?

I'm a bit taken a back by the number of people now allergic to things.  My hubby is allergic to fish and penicillin but nothing that requires an epipen.

Nuts.
Specifically pecans, but can't take the chance with anything that may contain/be in contact with any kind of nuts.
He gets re-tested every 3 years because he may grow out of it.. he's well pissed his best buddy has outgrown his.

And yeah, it's amazing how many kids have allergies and the proportion who are anaphylactic. In every school I've worked, we have a wall with all the students pics.. and a copy will be on their class wall (with their epipen) too. We are trained annually how to recognise the symptoms and how to administer the shot.
