I like Sue Grafton's books too Elly. There was a big interview with her in the Guardian on Saturday. Apparently Kinsey is her "alter ego."

It has emerged that best loved horror writer James Herbert has died aged 69. For those of you who don't recognise him, he wrote 'The Secret of Crickley Hall' which has just been adapted into an ITV TV series.

On a slightly aside note, I'm a huge fan of books, and didn't really fancy the idea of a Kindle - not entirely sure why. However, having been given one as a gift I have to say I love it.

My daughter gave me 'Jump' by Jilly Cooper, as a gift last week! I used to like her books, but haven't read any for umpteen years! I've only just started it, but can hardly put it down. It's absolutely hilarious......I'd forgotten how good she was! Definately one for the ladies!
