Baked a cake - victoria sponge (recipe in my BeRo cook book) - for my son's birthday today - he's well impressed! Very Happy

Just done my bit to vote out Labour. Hopefully "change is upon us" like everywhere else. lol

Unfortunately though, with the poxy system here we won't know for a month anyway. Rolling Eyes

Just found a BBC article on the NZ election. Not sure why voting in Labour would bring in change though.  Think

Anyway, busy week for me and not had time to post at all fainting so quick run down of my week:-

Started my new job this week.
Got my 1st lot of invoices out this week at work crossfingers
Found out that BILLY CONNOLLY coming on a tour next year to NZ! yay
Couldn't get tickets on line for Billy panic
Hubby got tickets for Billy by phone! tender
Posted off 1st birthday present for my best friend's daughter.
Going to see England U17's on Sunday - got free tickets as my daughter is a flag bearer Very Happy
And voted in my 1st general election.

Nice one. Got tickets for Billy Connolly too.
If England are in the final of the U17s I'll go as it's in Auckland. But that won't happen because they look the worst team in the quarter finals and they'll get smashed by Japan who have been the best team.

Well with 52% counted, "change is upon us." Still a long way to go though. We went to bed last time last time thinking National had won only for it to drag on for weeks and Labour eventually cobbling together a coalition with the minor parties to get back in.

Usually takes weeks of negotiations to form a coalition. Never expected a result today but the people have voted for change. Smile

goodjob with the tickets! w00t  Hamilton have sold out here now.

Think my daughter gets to see the final - they are taking all the 'helpers' up to see the game.  And I agree with you about Japan - they will be tough to beat.

And cmon yeah in the election!  I hope that John Keys doesn't stuff up!!!!!
