I got to sit and watch someone sleep today.
I also got to play pool, get banter with people, write in the Nursing Notes, do BMIs and MUST scoring.
An incredably long boring day and its ALL the same the morn Crying or Very sad

The mind doubts, but the heart never does.

Ah well honey.... guess even acute nursing has it's down side.  Don't knock a few boring days - be a welcome break when you are extra busy!  hug

Think my daughter gets to see the final - they are taking all the 'helpers' up to see the game.  And I agree with you about Japan - they will be tough to beat.

I can't believe what I've just seen. England have just won on penalties in the quarter final of a World Cup. shocking cmon yeah
Amazing game. Japan scored with about 5 minutes remaining and it looked all over then Englad equalised in the 3rd minute of injury time with the most amazing goal into the top corner from at least 35 yards, maybe even more. It was so far out. Then one save from the keeper in the shootout was enough as England not only won, but scored all 5!

So they'll meet North Korea in the semi final who have looked very good so far.

Was an excellent match!  Edge of the seat stuff at full time!  Brilliant goal to take it into extra time!  Think that they are saying 40-45 yards! w00t  Penalty shoot out was nervous and can't believe that an England team actually won one! yay  Glad that we went Very Happy  My positive attitude must have rubbed off Whistle Very Happy

Was an incredible goal and that girl will never forget it. A picture of her face afterwards is going to appear in future dictionaries next to the words 'shock,' 'surprise' and 'amazement.'

If anyone is exceptionally bored and wants something to do for 10-15 minutes, let me know and you can proof read my dissertation. Wink
