I am having a vaguely productive morning off - have sent out 3 sets of emails, done my grocery shopping online, got halfway through deciding my choices for February, about to check out my Excel spreadsheet of hours worked against pay received....

Interview seemed to go ok, just gotta wait now. I should hear by today because they want the person to start on Monday.

Still not heard, I hate waiting!!! I've also taken my phone in for repair but I think its buggered and that I'll have to pay for a new one, I think with Orange I will have to pay £60 ... of money I don't have, unless I get this job

I'm kinda glad, the weather has been nice this week so I've been chilling - whilst running about sorting out my life
not been home much. Is incapacity mean getting funding? I hopefully get my dentist and optitian's free now I'm signed on.

It's benefits, but incapacity means that I'm unable to work and so need money to live on. I think the chances of me actually getting anything are pretty much non-existent but might as well check it out and see.

You'll get something so long as your doctor signs you off. You'll eventually have to get an independent exam done, though.

Well I've been signed off work for 4 months now and since I won't be able to go back to that job as it would wreck my back again then I need to resign...but I can't do that till I know that I'll get money from elsewhere and I'm not fit enough to work, which rules out a job just yet and I can't sign on for jobseekers because I'm not fir to work.

Just apply for incapacity and they have to pay you £65 a week until you get examined, assuming your doctor keeps signing you off.
