Flew to Corfu, ensconced in the Louis grand hotel....40 degree,s... Phew! 7 hours ahead of New York .....not good planning but going up to the Scottish highlands for the second week to my usual remote abode(charleston cottage through wilderness cottages Scotland) check it out.... It's got Sky tv.... Happy days.  |

There are times when I feel like Maureen Lipman's portrayal of a Jewish Mum in the BT adverts of yonks ago. 7.00am our daughter drops off no 3 grandson at our home to go work with his grandad cos it will look good on a subsequent C.V. only to be met with, " we are are out of milk and bread. any chance of breakfast? " I am a wife, mum and grandma so the answer is yeh no problem.

Been with my daughter to see the house she has been allocated by the council. It is in a nice area but needs tons of work done to it. The previous tenants must have been heavy smokers the ceilings are brown and the place stinks. So it looks like the next few weeks are going to be devoted to cleaning and painting. I can't imagine how people can be so dirty. I'm not kidding. So it looks as if watching Andy is out for the next few weeks. Maybe I will get my son to record it for me if he remembers.

Bought my son a kitten for his birthday - from a mad cat-rescue woman. Two-bed semi... 140 cats. They were crawling all over me. It was like an infestation.
