My husband and myself get our flu jabs every year. Must admit we have both been fine. Did not get them when I was working as I used to feel a bit of colour. But okay now Doc will send us an appointment.

It's something I've never had, nor the rest of our family here. Hubby's mum and dad get it every year and usually a waste of time as they end up getting sick. Maybe they'd be worse if they didn't have it They promote it quite a bit over here.

Yes everyone over 60 is asked if they would like it. Also because I am diabetic I am encouraged to have it. My husband has had heart surgery so he has it too they encourage us to have it because in the winter they recon flu is at its worse then.

It is possible to still get a mild dose even if you've had the vaccination, but 'full blown' 'flu will have you flat on your back for days. Might even kill you! Yes.........the jab is definately worth having!

Yes, it's been the kind that's had them laid up in bed for days. I don't think the cocktail of drugs they are on help their immune system any but I'm guessing it may be worse if they didn't have it. Personally it's not something I would consider having and that's not just from working at a natural health company.

I don't think anyone should have it either unless they need it, but that can be said of any medication. My nine year old grandson has to have it because being asthmatic, catching 'flu could be fatal. Would you consider letting your children have it if they were asthmatic?

More that I love the love behind it from my friends wee boy He'd been worried as he'd seen me not well and carted off in an ambulance and had kept asking his mum about me all day
