Got a new doggie! Her name is Susie and she's  a cairn terrier tender

Congratulations - after thinking about it for a year, I got my first dog about 6 months ago. She is a rescue dog called "Millie the Mongrel" (she came very close to being "Murray the mongrel"). They are a great joy. The look on her face when I finally get up and she knows the next stage in the days routine is the park, is priceless. Unlike the cat she actually seems to value me for more than my usefulness. I hope you really enjoy her.

We ought to have a pet thread on here?

That's great Hazel! There are so many wee dogs waiting for good loving homes.......She's one of the lucky ones and she'll change your life for the better! One of my favourite Disney movies, has always been 'Lady and The Tramp' and the opening line is "If there's one thing money can't buy, it's the wag of a dogs tail!"   Very Happy  Enjoy!

Must watch it again sometime-I've plenty of little cousins who I'm sure would just love it-and would give me a good excuse Wink Although, like I said-I thoroughly wore out my copy,so I'd have to find another one Very Happy

Snap Hazel I love cairns terriers my daughter has a female cairn pup called Millie we look after her during the day when my daughter is at uni. My own cairn is 16 years old he is called Cuillin (after the black cuillins in Skye). He is blind and sleeps most of the time but we love him to bits. When you come home you are welcomed as though you have been away for years. I hope you get a lot of joy from her for many years.
