Brief catch up here.

Very sorry for your loss Caroline - sending you big hugs.  hug

LB - I really hope the medics get you sorted and your condition gets under control.

Aileen - Pets are as important as people at times - You're friend will be gutted as well.

Not been on much as my Mum has been unwell, and time has been tied up.  However, she's survived two ops, so I'll take that, and hope she can improve and have a few more quality years.

Awww......Sorry to hear your Mum hasn't been too good Elly! That must be a worry to you! Best wishes to her and you too!

@ Caz I had a kidney scan on Wednesday the doctor said I have small kidney's and that the blood vessels are narrow will see my doc as soon as he gets the results. My blood seem to be okay except he has put me on iron tablets (you know what it's like to go to the toilet) bloody awful. I watched Andy play and felt drained he has got to stop giving me heart failure it's not good for me (ha ha) so glad he won. Hope he keeps it up just happy that he is back to winning ways.

Margaret, I want the words "Andy Murray put me here" engraved on my tombstone!

I'm very sorry to hear about your kidneys though, so I hope the results mean that something can at last be done to sort the problem out.  Fortunately for me, iron has the opposite effect to what it has on most people, and that's definitely the preferable option.  However I used to have to take iron occasionally, and eventually I was prescribed it in a capsuled time-release form, which had very little adverse affect on my guts.  I've no doubt it's still around, but I do remember that they were more expensive than the other ones, so no doubt will no longer be prescribed by doctors as the NHS struggles to save costs.

@Aileen and Angie. A great quote Aileen at present watching Andy is going to be my undoing in a good way. I just wish he wouldn't put me through all the torture of watching him and getting upset when he double faults. Also that would be a great quote to put on a Murray fans tomestone but I'm being cremated, but I could have my ashes planted in the garden with the above tombstone to mark the spot. Your humour is disappointingly understated. Brilliant.

I am so proud  that Andy won he showed stamina, power, and composure to win last night and a never say die attitude to his tennis. What a match it was gripping and both player showed a lot of respect for each other that's the way it should be.
