I'm not sure of the rules? You can scramble the letter each time?
Yes you can scramble the letters each time and each time you can either add, subtract or change one letter.
It's not always easy, but it's fun and can be a challenge.
Some tips: look at the letters that are different in the end word to the start word then each time look to be either adding a wanted letter and/or removing an unwanted letter. For example for
BREAD into
BUTTER you need to remove the
AD from BREAD and add in the
UTT from BUTTER. So to start for example you could do one of the following:
- You could look if you can replace a D in BREAD with a T, which you could do making the word TABER.
- Or you could just look to see if you could remove the D from BREAD, which you could do making the word BEAR.
- Or you could look to see if you could add a U to BREAD, which you could do to make EARBUD.
There's lot's of ways you can go about it. You don't have to try and take a direct route either, if you can't see any changes you can make towards the word then just make a random change and see if it helps. For example you could just randomly add an N to BREAD to make BARNED, then from BARNED you could change the A with a U to make BURNED and now getting closer and it's probably easier with these letters.
