Also, while invisibleman18 did post for Murray in 2 back in the Matchday 9 thread, future thread predictions only count for one day so his final prediction is sadly invalid.

Doesn't seem fair since I posted for an actual match and not "higher rank in 2" or something, but I've managed to get online so Murray in 2 please.

I did always think the rule meant that, for example, you couldn't say at the start of the tournament "I won't be around, give me the higher rank in 2 for the whole thing." I quite agree that shouldn't be allowed. But I thought posting specific predictions for a couple of days if you can't get online might be ok. Anyway this time I've made it online in time.
Does anyone else think predicting for actual specific matches a couple of days in advance like I did this week should be OK?

The problem with that is that you need a defined cut-off. If 2 days in advance is ok, why not 3? If 3, why not 4?
In theory, you could predict all possiblities for a 128-draw tournament by name once the draw's announced. Would be quite a big post though!

Perhaps you could say it would be ok to do it for the semi finals and final like I did since that's only a few matches. There does need to be some sort of cutoff but I personally wouldn't have a problem accepting what I tried to do the other day.
How likely is it that someone is going to bother going through all possibilities for a lot of days anyway? I did it because it was only 3 matches to worry about. If it had been quater finals aswell I'd have just said stuff it.

Good point, could easily have been a 2-horse race. Unlucky.
2nd is very impressive given you missed a high-scoring day.
