First RTR of the year! Enjoy folks the usual rules apply, pick the winner for each match and the number of sets. You can also mark a 'banker's' choice, if you guess correctly on that prediction then you get double the points Hewitt v Tipsarevic
Goffin v Verdasco
Harrison v Giraldo
Malisse v Andujar
Benneteau v Dimitrov The deadline is midnight 13/01 which is 11am local time Melbourne.

Do I just post my predictions in here? Glad to see you are back running these Hazybear, they looked good when I joined last year but unfortunately weren't being run.

Yep just post who you think will win and number of sets i.e. Hewitt in 3 etc. Yeah last year dies a bit due to my health but hopefully will run smoother this year

Ok I'll try this, this year. Gosh tough choices to start. Ok let's go:
Tipsarevic in 3 (Bank) Verdasco in 4 Giraldo in 5 Malisse in 3 Dimitrov in 3

I've missed this.
Tipsarevic in 5. Goffin in 4. Harrison in 4. Malisse in 4. Bank. Benneteau in 5
Tough round this, all pretty unpredictable matches.

oops just removed that post by mistake trying to edit it, don't know how i managed that. Anyway it looks like you won last year so it might not be too bad an idea to go along your lines. To be honest I'm surprised by the number of people picking Hewitt to win, I think you're going with your heart instead of your head there

Hewitt thrashed del Potro last week and he's been training like a demon. A match vs Tipsy has 5-set epic written all over it. You balance Tipsy's high ranking against Hewitt's form and crowd backing and it's pretty even.

I think Tipsy is gonna walk it, that's why I banked it I'm rather tempted to throw a bet on that match as well but I can't really be bothered getting back into betting right now so I won't.

But in general, on RTR, the tactic should ALWAYS be: go for the most predictable result - because the chances of you getting the one upset each time are so slim. If there's one upset each round, you'll get 4 out of 5 every time. If you pick an upset and it's wrong and another tie is the upset, you've got 3 out of 5. Geddit?
But I have a strong feeling about that Hewitt match.

It's boring always backing the favourites and most likely results though, I think Harrison is favourite but I have my doubts about him right now.
