That sucks. I thought it was an hour before play started. Hence 10pm. I;ve been at work all day and just got in. It;s not like i;ve even seen it today, or that i forgot. I only found out the result of the damn semi when i got to work. jeez.

We tried having different deadlines during the first month of RTR but people were getting even more confused. The rules say it has to be constant through out the week but due to crazy time differences in San Jose, we extended it by 2 hours for yesterday and today, only.

Just doing what it says in the rules, mate. search me

Rules:
1) All predictions are to be submitted at the most an hour before the first match of the day begins with the bonus prediction an hour before the first matchday. Predictions will not be accepted after that.

2) You are not allowed to change your prediction once the deadline has passed.

3) In case a match is postponed till the next day due to rain or some other unforeseen reason, the prediction that was made the day before will still be valid but changes will not not be allowed.

4) In case either of the two players retire due to injury, that particular match will NOT count.

5) In all cases, the final decision rests with MW staff.

6) To avoid potential confusion and conflict, only staff are permitted to post up scores.

It says no where in those rules it has to remain constant. The rules say that the deadline should be an hour before the first match. The first match is at 11pm GMT (hardly a crazy time) hence going by the RULES YOU GUYS CREATED, the time should be 10pm GMT.

'Crazy time' refers to matches finishing at 4am to determine the next day which has happened every day this week. We all have uni/school/work and other commitments so if you miss the deadline tough luck, i've done it too, so has everyone.  The final decision lies with the staff and instructions for predicting at the beginning of a thread are posted to be followed.

Yeah but my point is not the crazy time that the matches are finishing, but the crazy deadlines your creating. It's like, if i miss in when i'm online, or in the house, or near a computer or whatevre then fair enough my fault. I'm always on the comp at some point. Like last week I missed predictions, even though i knew when they were for and I could have txt in. Today I didn;t know at all.

It;s not so much that i missed them that botehrs me. I mean, I can't get into the blue anyway.

What bothers me, is that you make up a deadline based on one rule "the staff decision is final" not based on any other rules. Why the problem with submitting predictions an up to an hour before the match.

You don't have to change this one, but I for one would like it in the future if ALL PREDICTIONS, were to be submitted one hour before the day's play.

There's this thing called school Allan. It's legal to attend it. Unless you would be willing to pay us to be around 24/7 to update the scores and other things? Wink
