Benzema signing for RM! fainting

Summer spending up to 180 million, unbelievable.

Tevez and Adebayor off to Man City, hopefully they'll actually do something with these signings, last season they were huge underachievers IMO, surprised Hughes is still in the job.

It's Andrew, not Julia btw. Smile

Barry Ferguson looks to be going to Birmingham. Good luck to him. Smile I think he'll be a miss but not sure how big a miss.  Think

Good riddance to Adebayor. 25m for such a lazy and fairly awful player is incredible. Alas it will only go in the bank and not on any player in all likelihood so it hardly seems worth it. Still, for him I'm sure the ridiculous wages will make being in a squad with 10 strikers and thus only getting a game every month or 2 worth the bother.

I don’t think they will miss his 40grand a week wages and the one and a half million pound transfer fee will come in handy. Rangers handling of the Macgregor/Ferguson seemed more to me about getting rid their most expensive player off the wage bill than club discipline.

Very true Vinnie. Thats what I was saying all along. And this 'whole squad for sale' just confirms it. I'll be sad to see Barry leave, but its for the greater good. I just hope we can keep hold of Bougherra and Mendes.

TV tonight saying no players will be coming in and they will go with the squad they have. Things do not look promising at the moment.

That'll suck. And the CL money will go to the bank too.

On another note. What does everyone think of the OF tv deal idea? I'm curious as to how they'll do it, and the cost. But if they plan to have a RFC and CFC channel and broadcast all their games I would be pleased. Also it'll be interesting to see how they arrange tv time kick offs towards the end of the year. Normally 1 team is dissapointed by something or other. Wonder what it will cost each club?

All I am interested in is how much I will be paying. Will I have to pay £20 for Sky sport’s and £20 for ESPN? because that is not going to happen.

Ferguson is on 32k, excl bonuses. He's still top earner though, £1.5 mil is a great deal!
