Ronaldo is not a thug. Biggest cheat in the game today - yes. But not a thug or a hardman. He's as soft as they come. Rooney is a complete thug. Duncan Furguson has nothing on Roy Keane though. Talking about a guy who not only deliberately ended an opponent's career, but also in his autobiography gloated and laughed about planning and pulling it off. I also found it funny when he thought he could question Patrick Vieira's nationality and patriotism. Coming from a guy who walked out on his country just days out from a world cup  |

Rugby? You mean that game where men enjoy rolling around on the ground with each other, sticking their heads up each other's arses and grabbing each other's nuts?
Interesting.
League players are definitely extremely tough though. They get smashed much more than rugby players. Most tackles in rugby are voluntary, players spend most of their time falling into tackles and lying on the ground.

You get a 'real' fight in a rugby match! Yes, from watching the Tri-Nations (a little bit), they are very tough!  I can remember something about the Roy Keane biography, but not a lot. Obviously remember very well him walking out on Ireland though  |

Never seen a 'real' fight in a rugby match. Plenty of pushing and shoving but they never actually land any punches. Fights every 5 minutes in league, with big hits |
