Is nobody watching this?! It's so good! Perri Shakes-Drayton gets bronze in the 200 hurdles with a lifetime best by over .6 seconds! Awesome!

Seriously, where is Laura to get excited with!

Another medal! Bronze for Jenny meadows in the 800m! Jemma Simpson down in 5th I think..... oh well! Dreams of two medals in that one but still an awesome night so far! 3 men in the 1500m coming up!

Awful awful tactics by the brits in that race. They let it be slow and they got dominated at the end in the sprint finish. Should have taken it on from the gun!

Only watched yesterday and I did my bloody usual, goosebumps etc...
Saw Jess Ennis and Mo Farrah, two great golds, Farrah's was surprisingly moving... Also this morning a Brit came 8th in the marathon which isn't bad going going considering it was only his 2nd marathon!

Also...  European Swimming Championships in Budapest starts next weekend... One of my friends in the GB synchronised swimming team has left for them now... Last year in Rome she had a little bit of a thing with Tom Daley!

Nicola Sanders also trains at the Windsor club near (ish) me and goes in the 4x400m relay final. Hope she can win it as it will be a great story as I am at the paper in Maidenhead tommorow!

I can't believe the 4X100 men screwed up in the heats! FAIL.

Might get another medal tonight in the 4 x 400! Hopefully gold!

Missed most of the action last night, but caught it on highlights, how good were the welsh! Very Happy

Surprised people take interest in this really.

This appears to me like the CONCACAF qualifying for the World Cup - Mexico and the US, you can win your regional stage but you'll still get pumped on the world stage.

True in some events, but not all....

It's a placement haha.

Women's high jump is epic.

Great drama, 2 metres + being jumped, and 3 relatively fit women with absolutely fabulous bottoms.

Yes, but they all have tighter abs than you and could bitchslap you with ease.

I love the athletics. Unlucky for the 4 x 4 men. Very very competitive race, all 8 teams were in it for quite a while! 19 medals!

And I reckon athletes that can currently compete world stage are....  Idowu (triple jump), Ennis (Heptahlon) comfortably. Farah (5k and 10k) possibly along with Greene (400 Hurdles) possibly. 4x400men will always be up there.

athletes that *could* feature at Olympic/World level - Shakes-Drayton (400 Hurdles), Williams (400 Hurdles), Thompson (10k), Rooney and Bingham (400m), Rimmer (800m), Baddelly (1500m), Dobriskey (1500m), Dean potentially (3000m SC)

The rest of the medalists and finalists I don't think are at world level yet.

Any thoughts on that? Have I missed anyone?

Does that mean they can run off road?

Robbie, I see you are concentrating on quantity, not quality these days. I hope you can get back to the way you were.
