Even though the show is about achievement and not personality... One of the big things that was probably holding him back before was his arrogant and immature perception on court. With Murray already appearing pretty grown up now, I think he does have a much better chance this year.

I think because of his strong, continuous improvement, he must be a strong contestant, especially if he beats Nadal this year, and wins a Masters event. However, no-one saw Zara coming, and the people are going to choose a surprise world champion above him... unless he wins a Slam of course. Then only winning back the Ashes or the WorldCup in Football can stop him.

To be honest with you I'm surprised he didn't win it last year. Though really that's more to do with the lack of competition than anything else.

Well I wasn't surprised Zara got it: not a lot of people are simultaneously World and European Champion in any sport at 25... Andy's far from reaching that level in tennis.

1. Didn't quite seem like it needed it's own topic.
2. With everyone whinging about post whores, thought it was best not to.
3. And why does everyone enjoy using the roll eyes smilie so much, it comes across as being so smug!

I meant to put "?" as well after point 1. lol, but never mind. I like the rolling eyes. Post whores? who moans about that
And creating a new topic ain't a problem, if it doesn't get used, then it will eventually dissapear from the first page and be lost in the depths. Doesn't really matter how many topics there are. People will still read it. And another thing. After 2 or 3 pages, those odds will dissapear.... and then in 2011, someone will say "wonder what odds people have on lighting the olympic flame next year?" and they will create a new topic because they can't find yours!
(If i'm still here posting in 4 years time i'll be impressed, but i kinda hope so....so many memories)

You're right... rolling eyes should only be used for sarcasm and humour really... otherwise it is a bit rude
