Erm... you dont drop your best performing player after a loss. And dont forget that England lost because they were playing against a bunch of dive cheats.

Name our best player in the WC?

Hargreaves tbh. Been screwed around for 5 years making sub appearances here and ther, playing in every position under the sun. Started the last world cup on the left wing, played this time at right back ffs. Finally got his proper role against Portugal and he showed what a class player he is. And he takes a decent penalty too, although he is German so that's hardly suprising. As for Beckham, it's time tbh. Lennon looks an exiciting player, and it's time to start getting him ready for the full time role. It's time to move forward and make changes.
Lennon deserves his chance, as does Hargreaves.
Still, we have serious problems if Liverpool's 3rd choice keeper, and Man Utd's 4th choice are making the national squad.

Couldn't agree more. And that's exactly why some of the dead wood has been cleared out after yet another world cup failure.

And you saying you can't support England now, and that you are "forced to support Real Madrid" (who you claim to hate), and stopped supporting Man Utd, just because of 1 player is obsurd. (not attacking you personally Arka, I just disagree with 1 player influencing you stopping supporting a team you supposedly love - ie england)
No player is bigger than a club or a country. Players come and go, clubs and national teams are around forever.
