Sky Sports News said that he my be getting paid nearly half a million a week.
He shouldn't be paid that amount

Just heard that the deal is reportedly worth $250 million
and he's referring to soccer already
I personally think that Victoria's pulling the strings - that's it's all good for 'brand Beckham'.
Yes, you take any job for the money, if you're honest, but
- I don't think that it's a good move football/soccer wise, and it'll certainly send his kids gaga going to tinsletown

Most of their promising players are abroad anyways. Beasley, Donovan an a few others. It has to be for the money and perhaps the reasons Bev posted.

It's just for the lifestyle, I guess. Posh thinks she and David are "HollyWood" anyway, so let him. It's a heck of a payday, thats for sure! Anyone seen the film/documantary Once In A Lifetime??? Its about Pele when he signed for the New York Cosmos?

The overrated squeaky voiced gimp is moving to the good old US of A and taking the anorexic tone deaf wife with him, big deal they should fit in perfectly with all the freaks out there.
Beckham stopped being about football, sorry Soccer a long time ago, Sir Alex “pwoud” Ferguson call this one spot on and the only reason Real bought him was for shirt sales.
Every Saturday I get to watch Jimaldinho McAlister turn out for the mighty Greenock Morton so on a personal level I won’t miss him.

well he does give alot 2 charity... just coz he earns alot doesnt mean he has to give it all away
