Haha apparently he wants to vacate the title so he can get a Klitschko...

TBH, he's not going any further in his career than Euro Champ. He's 38 and its probably time to call it a day! Klitschko would kill him!

Pretty boring fight last night, but glad I stayed up for it all the same.

One sided fight but it was good to see a more attacking Mayweather.

Great fights from Khan and DeGale last night. Shame about Mitchell though!

Thanks for the news. It is good to hear Khan is keeping the discipline, fighting well and stopping (KO) his opponent.

Khan was impressive, but against a boxer who is overrated. Malignaggi coudlnt punch his way out of a paper bag. Khan called out Maidana, Bradley and Alexander after the fight, so why are they now talking about fighting a guy from the division below Khan? What happened to ruling the division? Having said that Katsidis is a decent fighter, he could might well knock Khan out!
Dissapointing for Mitchell! I notice that Warren has publicly slated him already! Nice!

Go on, Burns. He should get the decision.
And Scotland has another world champion boxer!

Not a big boxing follower, but this is fantastic, what class is he? Welterweight?

Either lightweight or super featherweight. I think it's the former. I haven't followed boxing as much since I stopped writing about it.

Never heard of this bloke before, good for him though.
Sept 18th should be sick, Nathan Cleverley going for a world title I think, and I think Brook and Degale are on the bill as well. It's a Frank Warren night in Birmingham.
