Hamilton on pole in Canada! cmon yeah

Was hoping to get there again this year, but every year something happens. It's a fantastic venue.

Poor Sebby..way at the back start. lol

And Kimi in 3rd. Yaay.

Only 4 out of the last 14 pole sitters have gone on to win the Canadian GP... worrying statistics!

Aye.....Ferrari have made some upgrades to the car and Kimi done a great job Linda and 'poor' Sebby had a problem with his car during the qualies!  #crocodiletears Mind you....he's pretty good at cutting through the pack, so we'd better save the celebrations! Rolling Eyes

Congrats to Lewis. Strong,steady.

Bit of a boring race tbh.

Can't see Kimi picking up another contract with the prancing horse. Frown

Sorry about Kimi Linda! He should've been on the podium and I can't see why Ferrari would let him go!

Incredible - both Mercedes spin out on their final runs in Q3 - with Rosberg throwing it away on the final corner.

Hamilton pulled out a stunning lap on his second run (having been 3-4 tenths slower than Rosberg throughout qualifying) so he held on for pole.

Something like 6/7-1 in qualifying this year now.

That was hilarious lol

Reminds me of Barcelona last year when Hamilton spent FP3, Q1 and Q2 looking like a total amateur, only to pull out a stonking pole lap.

Rosberg leads from the start and reduces the deficit to 10 points. Except for that one lap in Q3, Hamilton has looked decidedly second best this weekend.

Yep, does seem to struggle here. Hopefully just a one-off.

I'm still ruing that Monaco farce. 17 point swing from one stupid little mistake. I hope it doesn't cost him this season.

After the early domination Rosberg is really getting into his stride now. 3 wins from 4 and seems to have his mojo back.

I can't understand how being in pole position gives an advantage, unless the first car is on the correct side for going into the first bend! confused
