That was dismal. With the exception of Buttler, it was the worst batting performance I've seen in a T20. Very lucky to make it to the 20th over. Don't think I can face going to a match at Seddon Park again. Didn't understand Broad's choice to bowl first. At the time we said it was ridiculous. You never want to chase in a T20 because once you get behind the run rate it's too hard, especially in a night match when you end up batting under artificial light. Knew what would happen from that moment.
Pity McClenaghan had to do well. Went through every year of school with him from the first year at primary school through to doing the same degree at Uni. Complete and utter ******.
At least the Wellington match on Friday will be a decider and not a dead rubber I guess.

Not really. I planned to when there was the whole fuss about it starting but aside from little bits here and there I don't follow it. I keep an eye on how any England players are doing but that's about it. I've watched much more of the Australian Big Bash version to be honest, I guess because of the time difference it's actually on when I'm home and up watching TV. |

Looks like a perfect night for it here in Wellington. Let's hope Broad doesn't choose to bowl first if he wins the toss again! Just took a stroll past Wellington's only 5 star hotel where teams usually stay and saw Broad and Luke Wright come out for a walk along the waterfront.

Absolutely brilliant. Biggest thrashing you'll ever see in a T20. 10 wicket win with 7 overs to spare.  Probably the most enjoyable live sport I've been too for a long time. Good to see old McClenaghan getting smashed all over the ground too. Bowled a maiden then went for 38 from the next 2 overs. |
