Wasn't a particularly good game.
Disappointing to concede the late goal, but when your tactics are to defend and hold onto a 1-0 in the 2nd half you deserve it. Poor from Mclaren. It was just a friendly. No points at stake so no point trying to hold out. Keep playing and try and win 3-0. Nothing to lose.
Micah Richards had a pretty good debut. Nervous start but it was always going to be tough against someone like Robben. He did a reasonable job.
More worryingly though, the results in the qualifiers went against us with both Croatia and Russia winning. Next up for us is away to Russia. Usually a game you'd be pretty pleased to come away with a point from, but at this stage, anything less than 3 points could prove a bit worse than just "worrying."

England v Holland was really poor to watch but anyone see Croatia v Israel? That was some match, 4-3, and it puts England in 3rd! Ha Ha!
Holland left out quite a few first teamers and it showed, they were terrible. England werent much better, such an awful match!

Sam, how very foresightly of you..
Thanks, shame we got draw, at least it is better than lose. I was right about Wayne Rooney be able to nick a goal.
