Not fussed. Germany will turn either to schnitzel!

England up 2-1 after two pens each.

England's bum collapses on the penalty spot, yet again.

Rolling Eyes  I didn't see a lot of the match before I had to leave for work but I wasn't impressed no

England have lost 6 out of 7 of their last penalty shoot outs doh

So, attention will turn back to Wimbledon now Whistle

The commentator calling Diamante a West Ham reject came back and bit him in the ass.  The better team won. Pirlo was amazing.

Devastated to lose like that yet again but we never deserved to win. Found myself almost hoping Italy would score in extra time to save us having to go through the penalties.

On a positive I'm glad it was a United player and Cashley who will now forever be remembered for missing and not Theo or Ox. Was trying to work out who would take them during extra time and couldn't think of anyone I'd want after Gerrard and Rooney. I then said out louad "oh yeah Cashley usually takes a ******* good pen.." then stopped myself immediately realising what would surely happen now I'd said that. Even if one of them had scored who on Earth would have taken the 5th one anyway? Carroll? I suppose it would have to have been Theo.

Don't understand the need to sit so deep against Italy. Against Spain or Germany sure but it was never needed against them. Should have tried to take the initiative from the start.

For all this idea that Johnson is hopeless and needs a defensive midfielder on the wing in front of him, what a ******* great tournament he had. I've never rated him but felt he was about our best player over the 4 games.

Also, what a ******* shite player Ashley Young really is. I thought Gareth Barry was the most woeful player I'd seen play for England until now.

This football, like Wimbledon, is getting rather predictable, isn't it!

Apparently Italy have bit of a reputation for knocking Germany out of tournies.
