Well I've managed to change 3 of my players - still have some NZ/injured players in there but not a lot I can do about that when you're limited to the number of changes you can make Rolling Eyes

We are now down to the wire!

13 runs off 12 balls!

If Colly can pull this one out of the hat, it'll be 'arise Sir Paul' lol - the Aussie's will have something to whinge about then! Very Happy

From the beeb commentary:

The Aussies keeping England waiting, bit of mind games from Punter. Nixon clips Bracken to backward-square and he scampers two. Two needed from five. Nixon digs out a blockhole ball and gets one for it. One needed. Colly hits the winning runs, a clip to mid-wicket and England have only gone and ruddy won! All rise for the Ginger, Mackem Nugget! Give that man a knighthood. His second consecutive one-day ton and he finishes on 120. England's players go berserk on the balcony, and good luck to them, that was a feisty performance and they've earnt some respect. Stick a fork in me, I'm done. Someone else is doing the next two games so that's me for this tour. Thanks for the memories and just glad it finished in such happy fashion. See you at the World Cup.

Don't say I didn't tell you Whistle

What a match! I don't think I have any hair left.
With Ponting and Hayden in, and 170-1 from 30 overs they looked sure to make well over 300, yet somehow we took 6-33 from the last 10 overs and restricted them to 252.
I thought we should make it, but then in a flash we were suddenly 15-3 (with 2 incorrect LBW decisions going against us) and it looked like the same old skittled for 110 scenario again. Brilliant partnership between Bell and Colly and then how many lives did Flintoff have? Hogg had them absolutely bamboozled and almost had Freddie out pretty much every ball. How he ended up with figures as bad as 0-52 off his 10 overs I'll never know.
Great stuff from Colly, 2 centuries in a row. We'll probably lose 2-1, but great to see some interesting matches, and at last some actual contests.
