YYYYYEEEEEESSSSSS. Tenerife score in the last 5 mins for a 2-0 win at top placed Xerez.  We're top with 2 games to go. We will be promoted if we get a point from our last 2 games. Win both games and we win the 2nd division.

Went to Wembley for the England game last night. Phenomenal stadium. The walk from the concourse through the tunnel to the stands felt like the longest 3 seconds of my life. Great day out going around London as well.

Man Utd accept £80m Ronaldo bid

Manchester United have accepted a world record offer of £80m from Real Madrid for Cristiano Ronaldo.

"United have agreed to give Real Madrid permission to talk to the player," said a statement from the English club.

It added that the decision came at Ronaldo's request after he "again expressed his desire to leave".

It's put me in a bit of a hard place for next season... I truly hate Man United, and would love to see them do badly, but I also hate Ronaldo, and don't want him to be able to brag that the whole team was him!

Chris and I are having a debate.

Who do you think is the biggest club in world football?

I say Real Madrid for various reasons :

- 31 La Ligas (ultra competitive league)

- 11 European trophies including 9 (yes, that's right, NINE) ECCs.

- In terms of revenue, until last year, topped the tables from 1999-2007.

- Players such as Puskas, Di Stefano, Zidane, Raul, Figo, Beckham, Fernando Hierro, Roberto Carlos, fat Ronaldo, and now Kaka and C. Ronaldo.

- Frequently swapping places with Barcelona/Man Utd as the most widely supported club in Europe, and the world.
