Knew it would be a matter of time with Sir Bobby - a true gentleman, RIP.

Agree completely. One of the best.

Rangers 1-0 PSG.

Thought we played well, especially in the second half. Mendes was phenomenal, I think he'll be our star player in the CL, away from all the thugs in the SPL. Naismith was impressive also in his 30 minute stint, we have a lot of players who look assured and comfortable on the ball, tomorrow against Arsenal wil be tough.

I see Walter Smith asking for summer football so Scottish football is not embarrassed in Europe. The last time I can remember being embarrassed by a Scottish Club in Europe was by Rangers in Manchester.

Wonder if Virgin will put ESPN on their XL package like they did with Setanta's channels. Think
That's exactly what they are doing.

What, in the UK? It is. It is getting launched on Monday as they've picked up Setanta's football rights.

Yes ..... sorry, I was talking about the UK.  Oh, so it's just football rights.  I was hoping for some tennis as I miss hearing the BG commentary from time to time.  Also, Mary Carillo is a good analyst.

Well the sight of drunken Scottish fans attacking police singing bigoted party songs and  BBC TV commenting on them pissing in the street embarrassed me as a fan of Scottish football.

We may get tennis and other stuff when the football isn't on. ESPN Classic will still be aired as well so past matches maybe shown on that.

I think you can already see past matches.  If ESPN is taking over from Setanta then that must mean it is a separate subscription channel ..........no?
