It was a tranverse fracture, probably the worst scenario you can imagine.

It's more to do with the angle of your leg, and if your studs are in the ground when the kick comes in, you're f*cked.

Yuk!  Bet it must hurt a fair bit.  But it must take along time to heel too right?

The guy probably never played football professionally again, he'll do well to recapture 100% movement.

This is one of the most exciting Premier League season with 3 teams within one game of each other (Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal).  This makes the outcome unpredictable and gives hopes to the Arsenal fans.

8 wins from 9 and we are the second form team in Europe behind Real Madrid according to our website.

The barrel has been well and truly scrapped.

Incredible result that is for Fulham. I didn't realise they lost the first leg 3-1 and were actually 4-1 down on aggregate before they scored in the 2nd leg. It was amazing enough before!

Interesting CL quarter final draw. Finding it hard to get excited about the competition though. There's no way we'll beat any of these big teams over 2 legs and it's all about the league for me. Happy enough with Barcelona though tbh. Could handle going out to them, but could just not face yet another thumping from United so anyone but them will do.

Bit of trivia for us. For some unexplainable reason I found myself on Nick Barmby's Wikipedia page! It stated that he is 1 of 5 players to have scored for 6 different clubs in the Premiership. So without looking for the answer, let's try and work out who the other 4 are.

Would think Teddy Sheringham has to be one. He's had more clubs than Tiger Woods. Nottingham Forest, Spurs, United, Portsmouth, West Ham I can think of but that's only 5, and were Forest in the Premiership when he played for them?

Emile Heskey has played for a few different clubs although not sure it would be 6 in the Premiership.

Maybe Les Ferdinand? He played for a thousand clubs too.

Quite hard to think of players who have played for 6 Premiership clubs, let alone scored for 6!

Good one, didn't think of him.

Just checked and Sheringham is 5 clubs while Heskey is 4 so they can be ruled out. Les Ferdinand is correct and according to Wikipedia he was the first player to score for a 6th club.

So 2 more to go.
