Sh*t really? Where have you heard that? I've only seen it as "no suspicious circumstances" so assumed it was a heart attack or something.

Reported on Sky news this morning as taken his own life and I think it's on the beeb as hanged.

So very sad, whatever the circumstances.

F**king hell. He was on TV only the day before talking about the future for the Welsh team etc.

Very tragic.   Heartbreaking stuff for the family and friends that he leaves behind.

This really got to me much more than I would have thought. Been absolutely miserable since reading it yesterday morning and the girlfriend has even had ask me what's wrong. Can't remember the last time I felt so low about something and he's not even someone I ever really thought about and I don't like any of the teams he played for. Think it's because he seemed to a genuinely decent and well respected person and not the vile lowest of the lowest scum like John Terry.

I must admit that I'm quite shocked how relaxed he looked on Football Forum and to think that hours later, he was gone!

Absolutely ridiculous for a club of the size and prestige and with the success of Rangers to be going into administration. There has to have been some seriously pathetic mis-management of enormous proportion.

I heard that there is an offer on the table to the HMRC to pay back some of what is owed if the HMRC turn the offer down then Rangers will go ahead with the liquidation but Craig Whyte will still have Ibrox, Murray Park, the players and staff.  I wish the rest of us could get out of paying tax to HMRC like this shocking

Devastating for Scottish football. Scotland has only ever had 2 teams since the middle ages anyway so what happens if Rangers disappear? You know it's a joke league when you are docked 10 points and are still 2nd and still unreachable for 3rd. When Portsmouth lost 10 points in a league twice the size they got relegated, Rangers will just come 2nd instead of win the league.

All relative..... England which is awash with money, Sky money I hasten to add because if Sky went bust(unlikely but?)..several top teams would go bust...you only have 4 teams liable to win the league ...only 2 more than Scotland.

True, but I'm not sure the gap between 2nd and 3rd tends to be quite as large and losing 10 points would usually drop you a few places down the table, not that it really matters. Would be disastrous for Scottish football if Rangers were to disappear.

Abramovich is a relentless prick.

I like Villas-Boas. I think he's one of the most talented young coaches in the world, but I think he lost the dressing room, and some of the results recently have been very poor.
