Don't get me wrong, I love Barca's style of football as much as the next man. But you can't have a go at teams for playing a more defensive style in order to get a result.

There is no "right" way to play the game. I get a bit annoyed at people (not aiming this at you) who have a go at anyone who dare try and stop Barcelona playing their pretty football as if they have no god given right to try and Barca should win purely because they play their little triangles.

And personally I would, if the alternative is Chelsea coming out much more open, being 3-0 down by HT and the tie being rendered useless. I like to see a contest, however scrappy it may be, rather than one team just dominating. Each to their own, obviously, but you can't knock teams for doing what they believe best to get the result. If they do it week in, week out then fair enough.

True.

I was impressed by Gary Cahill and John Terry though, I would have them as my centre-backs for Euro 2012 if I was England manager, based on tonight's showing.

If Chelsea are as disciplined as tonight I worry. I know the pitch is bigger at the Camp Nou which will allow for more space but I can see Drogba somehow nicking a goal then them shutting up shop.

If Barca hadn't created any chances then I'd be more worried. Cesc was poor and the finishing in general was very poor - by Barca standards.  Drogba was an absolute disgrace.  My 5 year old niece could knock him over - by sneezing near him.

Yep, Cahill should partner Terry in the Englich backline. Chelsea played a good game and hope they manage to hold on the lead in a week of time.

I really rate Cahill. It's just a shame the England managers are always so short-sighted that they struggle to see past the top six sides. Was the same with Young before his move to Man Utd.

Don't understand Wigan. Every season without fail they're one of the worst sides and in the relegation zone all season long until about the last 6 weeks they suddenly beat everyone and scrape survival.

Whoever takes the job, should pursuit Scholes to make a comeback. England needs some creativity and ball control in the middle.

Man City back on top. Very Happy

8 points behind yet have somehow managed to overturn it. Scum have well and truly bottled it, despite all the points they've been gifted by horrific refereeing.

Hopefully Man City don't cock it up now.

I know, it's infuriating, I want them to go down.

Fair ***** to them though, Martinez has them playing some good football.

Best (English) man for the job. Redknapp is over-rated.

Pity they couldn't both have lost but glad Liverpool lost in the end. Forever the victims, they've made themselves look a complete bunch of classless C U Next Tuesdays this season. Long may they continue to rot in mid table.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Amazing. Most dramatic finish to a Premiership season.. ever probably.

Scum lose the title in the 95th minute to their local rivals on goal difference.

You couldn't make this up. lol
