The 2nd half was dominated by Rangers, only one moment of attack from Utd, and not surprisingly, the Rangers defence made a hash of it. Adam and Ferguson were using the wind to their advantage and sending balls through the Utd defence for Novo, Boyd and Burke to latch on to. There were countless opportunities for the Gers to score, but in the end they scored twice from Boyd! Burke was replaced by Sebo who recieved a good reception from the Rangers support and he tried continuesly to score but he still looked like a headless chicken out there. In the dying moments, Boyd knocked a ball on for Ferguson to charge out of midfield and round the keeper before scoring a great goal. In typical Ferguson style, I might add.

It was a very nervy game and the Gers defence will need sorting out if Rangers are to turn their form around. They might also consider a new striker after Dado being taken off.   Difficult conditions, but well done Rnagers!!

It’s funny how most of the football team’s supporters can get along quite nicely without the need for a thread for each individual game that they play.

I believe that this is because the Chelsea supporters are trying to give the impression that they are actually a big team and are over compensating by adding individual match threads, when it is patently obvious that England has three big teams and these are Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool.

Chelsea are thought of as a team in the order of say Everton, Spurs, Bolton or Newcastle United, the odd cup run but essentially middle of the table also rans. Their sad misguided fans will try to equate being nouveau riche and having bought a few titles with being a big club, this was not true when Blackburn Rovers did it and it is certainly not true today and miss the significance of earned respect over decades that the big clubs have all gained.

i get along well with all football supporters. i find that to be one of the things in scottish football, if you are walking to or back from a game you can always get in a conversation with an opposition fan and have a bit of light-hearted banter without anything violent etc. kicking off
