Great victory for Lewis. The Lotus's were seriously quick as well.
And, oh, look. Guess who got yet another penalty for dangerous driving? Yes. Pastor "Monobrow" Maldonado.

Really pleased for Lewis - he's had a lot of bad luck this season.

Couldn't get tennis on my satellite (camping) but did see the race, so all was not lost!
Great victory for Lewis. Kimi close but not close enough.
Altho McLaren's pitstops are vastly improved, it was team strategy that killed Jenson's race.
Maldonada.. what a surprise,eh?
He deserved more than a drive-thru. I think every race must end with a visit with Charlie Whiting.

Great drive from Lewis, he's dominated the entire weekend and deserved that thoroughly.
Button a bit pissed at McLaren and rightly so, the **** were they thinking? Did they not do their calculations before pitting him? ****** over his race and probably cost him a podium. They really are clueless at times.

Strange session. The championship contenders are all well down - 4th, 6th, 7th, 10th and 12th.
Button on pole for the first time for McLaren apparently. Delighted for him.
Kobayashi P2, Road Rage P3. Di Resta will start P9, good session from him, outqualifying Schumacher, Vettel and Rosberg.

McLaren going for a high downforce setup for Hamilton. Bunch of absolute idiots.

Lewis said he had to use an old (much heavier) wing as they were having problems with the new one. ffs.

Which begs the question: why give the shiny new wing to the useless second driver who's out of contention for the WDC?

Christ.
Grosjean
For anyone not watching, Grosjean shunts Hamilton on the start, they come together and fly into Alonso who is very lucky to escape unharmed. All three out.
Vettel had to pit after running over the debris
no he didn't, BBC comm getting all confused, and Kobayashi was also caught up in it, will probably have to retire.
Hamilton has had no luck at all this year. Is that the third time he's been crashed out by another driver? I recall Maldonado, I think there was one other. Then there was the puncture two races ago when everyone went over the same debris.
Oh well.
Di Resta up to 3rd or 4th.

Holy ****!
I watched the start with hubbster, but now he's gone to work and I won't watch it until he gets home (PVR'ing).
I thought Maldonado created this by jumping the lights, but review looks like it was simultaneous.
Hope Alonso is okay.. he looked dazed.
Glad to see Lewis walked under his own steam back to pits.
Will stay off this thread now and catch up later. Enjoy the race.

They just showed Alonso sat down and sharing a laugh with one of the Ferrari guys, he looks ok albeit a little rattled.
Grosjean started it by driving into Hamilton, Maldonado jumping the lights was separate.

That Force India is so slow. I'd like to see Di Resta move somewhere like Sauber or Mercedes. Even Williams.
