Yeah.. I saw Grosjean pushing Lewis off, but I still wonder if Maldonado was partly to blame. Isn't he always ?
Anyways... I'm not peeking here anymore because I don't want to know what happens.
It's so bloody annoying when hubbster has to work on a GP weekend.. altho' it's much more annoying for him. Poor guy.
Enjoy the race, Luke.

Di Resta has a failed KERS system.
He needs to get out of that team fast if he wants to do better, they're holding him back.

Just watched on PVR. Love the Spa circuit, especially Eau Rouge sector.
All sweeping corners and fans perched on any blade of grass they can find.
There was so much action, it almost felt like I was watching a GP2 race at times.
Gutted for Lewis but thrilled for Jenson. So fantastic to see him with clear track ahead all the way.
Just noticed some teams have done away with lollipop guys.
Good to see Kimi on podium again, even tho' he was pissed at his car.
Loving the podium interviews.. great for the drivers to interact with the fans.
Agree with you MH about Paul. His car lets him down all the time. He's got so much potential.

Yep, happy for Button but unfortunately this result all but ends any hope Lewis and McLaren had of competing for the championship. There's always the Constructor's I guess.
Grosjean has been handed a one-race ban as a result. Seems overly harsh considering all that Maldonado has gotten away with (well, at a lesser punishment if any) but I guess they're taking into account how dangerous the accident was as a result of his carelessness.
Maldonado has a 10 place grid penalty (5 for causing a collision, 5 for jumping the start). Absolute headcase.
Anyway I guess I can just enjoy the rest of the season now without getting nervous about the points because, short of a miracle, this is a three-way race now, and it's Alonso's to lose really, despite today.
Amazing really how big luck and other drivers carelessness can affect the Championship. Lewis has had none of it this season unfortunately, and been crashed out twice (thrice?) by other drivers recklessness.

Surely it's a matter of time before Maldonado gets a ban as well.
With Grosjean I think they also took into account the fact that he's been involved in collisions at the start of most races this season.

The FIA needs to take a long hard look at these pay drivers before someone gets killed.

Eddie Jordan believes that Hamilton is on his way to Mercedes!

If Hamilton does go to Mercedes then hopefully Di Resta goes to McLaren.

I would be happy with that switch.
Surprised tbh, McLaren developed Lewis and gave him his start in the sport, thought he'd be there for a few years yet.

I would be surprised though if Lewis left Mclaren after all Ron Dennis has done for him throughout his career I was expecting a few more years too, maybe he will..as always in F1 nothings confirmed until last minute!!

I would be absolutely gutted if Lewis left. Not only because it dents his chances (what a backwards move) but also because it just wouldn't the same without him at McLaren.
If he does go though I really hope McLaren go far Di Resta.

yeah although ultimately hes not my favourite driver, Mclaren without Lewis seems a bit wrong. inevitably all drivers change teams throughout their careers but I was hoping he may have stayed a bit longer..maybe he will, no confirmation yet

anybody got any thoughts on d'ambrosio taking the seat for Grosjean at monza? i know hes a reserve driver, but c'mon Grosjean would outdrive him anyday. Hes been absoultely pants in the past, and even though his desire to get back in an f1 car is visible for us all to see I cant see him getting anywhere near the front of the grid, I know Grosjean has been involved in a few collisions throughout the season but I cant see D'ambrosio driving anywhere near the level Romain is at the mo, he is so much better on his comeback this year. Some would argue because hes got a better car I just think hes matured, still a way to go, but what an improvement. Jerome will shock me if he gets into qualy 2.
