Wow. Just wow. What an incredibly unbelieveable comeback. I ******* love Ian Poulter. Reminds me very much of Colin Monty. Always falls short at the majors but absolutely unbeatable at the Ryder Cup. How Rose and Garcia won their matches I'll never know either.

I remember watching the last day of the last meeting - was gripping stuff and my hubby said I'd watch anything ignore  Sad to have missed this, what with work getting in the way, again doh but read the beeb has it happened, and fabulous way to keep involved.

Well done Europe clap   I love it when a crowd is silenced.

As someone has said earlier, what a marvellous year for sport clap

Yes very well done the European Team. I am glad they won after all the noise the American Public were making . I think at times it was over the top. But Europe fought back and showed great fighting spirit I am sure Sevy was watching over them. It was a different team that came out yesterday and they were all great nice to see the American crown go quiet. Well done guys you were all great.

Anyone else watched the US Open? Wonderful win for Justin Rose. Kept expecting him to lose it having not really been in that position before but he held it together where other English players like Westwood and Donald have fallen apart in recent times (the latter did again to some extent yesterday). Couldn't see past mickleson winning but he just couldn't make a putt all day and Rose did what he did him a few months earlier in the Ryder Cup.

First English major winner since 1996, something I wasn't sure I'd get to see again any time soon. Early contender for the Sports Personality award.

Didn't see it, but I heard his fine words afterwards. Very impressive, I thought.

Anyone been watching The Open? Great tournament so far with a lot of twists and turns. Including the second Monday finish in history.

Hoping either Spieth or Oosthuizen can win it. For Spieth it will be the third major in a row he's won this year, and the first time for that to happen in 60 years.

Looks like Spieth is going to win again. Jason Day always seems to be in one of the last two groups for the final round in the majors so surely he's going to win eventually. Would love to see Justin Rose get up and do it. Not really been able to see as much of it as I would have liked as the cricket has taken priority for me but planning to watch what I can of the last round. I stood in one of those deep bunkers and on the bridge on the 18th when I was up there in 2009.

Utterly brilliant from everyone at the moment. At least 20 people are still in contention to win the title, with no one giving an inch to any of the other players around them. Never seen a better round of golf in my life.

24 players are within 4 shots of the lead.
