ICC Cricket World Cup 2007

Bit of a shock all round today in cricket.  Freddie should hang his head in shame, especially with the sad news regarding Bob Woolmer.  As for the other England players, Rolling Eyes  For a moment this morning, I thought that they were referring to English football players and not cricket players.

Bob Woolmer's Post mortem has proved "inconclusive" and suspicious circumstances have not been ruled out. A police investigation will follow.
Starting to think my first reaction might not be far wrong.

I think Steve "It was the biggest series in England's history but I couldn't be arsed preparing myself for it" Harmison should be more concerned with gettin himself properly prepared for England's next test series than worrying about Andrew Flintoff. Got a fight on his hands to win a place back in the side.

As for Bob Woolmer, more details coming out that there was a tonne of vomit, blood and diarhoea (sp?) found at the scene too. It won't ever be proven I suppose, but he was poisoned to stop him pulling the lid on a matchfixing and betting scandal. No doubt about that in my mind, did not die by natural causes.
