Yep...we miss Novo and Buffel
And Prso is always a big miss
McLeish has to go if we dont make next stage of Europe. I have stuck by him but today was unacceptable

Yep..compared to Advocaat and Smith, he has had to work on a pittance, but his signings are not Rangers-class and we are an absolute shambles and we lack confidence. Also stripping the captaincy off Ricksen has also been bad man-management

I hope Rangers get through in the Champions League and Hearts are a bit of a turn up in the Scotish league. Chelsea still miles ahead of the rest and Wycombe (top of League 2) are still unbeaten =D>

yeah but its like when you used to watch the old firm when they won all the time.chelsea matches ive ever seen never exactly get you on the edge of your seat.they either thrash out a win or play ugly defensive football

I do not like teams/individual who monopolise a single sport.
Its boring and you always want the underdog to win

A very boyish thread. At the sign of football some girls flee. As for Chelsea in the Premiership. I'll stop myself before i go into a huge rant about economic issues mixed with football and politics. Abramovich - pretty much corrupted English football.. taking Russia down on the way. (there is a strange but long link..) And as for their sucess - darn money of course. I only have respect for Murinhio - not as the manager of Chelsea, but as one of the best managers in the world. =D>

Will everyone stop going on about Abramovich. In football the only way most teams become great is with a lot of money, and how they use. With the exception of ManU in the 90s very few teams actually have youngsters coming through the youth setup and becoming the core of the first team. The only reason Blackburn won the Premiership was because of Jack Walker and when he left they got relegated. I hope this doesn't happen to Chelsea but soon enough (not too soon though) Abramovich will leave and Chelseawill just be another Premiership team. Money doesn't make a successful side, as Real Madrid have proved, although I'm not saying they're not successful, just not as much as Chelsea.
