The last race was in Czech Republic last weekend, and it was rubbish really. Stoner won and his championship lead is now 60 points. Rossi finished 7th, I think. There was more talk about the recent allegations that Valentino Rossi owes the Italian government 40 million euros in unpaid taxes. shocking

Rossi has just retired out of the Misano GP. His engine had problems. Stoner leads from Hopkins and Vermuelen. A big crash on the first corner between De Puniet and Pedrosa!

Stoner won and is now 85 ahead in the championship.

The first race of next season, Qatar MotoGP at Losail, will take place under floodlights.

It was a good race and hopefully gives some hope to Yamaha's new engine, for next year. Stoner only has to finish the race to win the championship!

Stoner won the championship today in Japan! He needed to beat Rossi to win and when Rossi had mechanical problems whilst leading with 10 laps to go, it was over. Rossi finished 13th and Stoner finished 6th! 3 races still to go, and Yamaha and Michelin have seriously let Rossi down this year!

Pedrosa won and Rossi didnt finish which was inevitable considering how bashed up he was. So that means that Pedrosa snatched the 2nd place in the championship by 1 point. Ah well, on to next year!!!

Not only that but you've got Scott Redding and Danny Webb in 4th and 5th! woohoo

The interesting thing about this season, is that most riders have switched from Michelin tyres to Bridgestones. For years Michelin have been far superior, but last year something wasnt working and Bridgestone riders were more successful.  So we have only 7 riders left on Michelins and guess what pole, 2nd and 3rd have??? Yep, Michelins!!! And they are all Yamahas!

Rossi was one of the ones to jump ship to Bridgestone but his team mate and pole setter, Lorenzo, has stayed on Michelins. Its going to be really interesting to see how the 2 compare against each other in race conditions.

Can Stoner repeat his domination in 08? Will Rossi recover from his dissapointing last 2 seasons? Will one of the new guys, Lorenzo, Doviziovo, De Angelis mount a serious challenge? Or will The World Superbike Champion, Toseland become the first Brit to win Moto GP since Barry Sheene in 1977?  It all starts tonight at 8pm on Eurosport and BBC2!!!!

Well, Bradley finished 16th. He seemed to have mechanical problems in the first few laps. Scott Redding was in 3rd but ended up 5th. Not bad for the 15 year olds debut!
