It’s funny how most of the football team’s supporters can get along quite nicely without the need for a thread for each individual game that they play.

I believe that this is because the Chelsea supporters are trying to give the impression that they are actually a big team and are over compensating by adding individual match threads, when it is patently obvious that England has three big teams and these are Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool.

Chelsea are thought of as a team in the order of say Everton, Spurs, Bolton or Newcastle United, the odd cup run but essentially middle of the table also rans. Their sad misguided fans will try to equate being nouveau riche and having bought a few titles with being a big club, this was not true when Blackburn Rovers did it and it is certainly not true today and they miss the significance of earned respect over decades that the big clubs have all gained.

At least it is one for the team now and not matches.

Thoughts on the club as above.

Don't have a favorite player as I do not even know who are in their team, I do not know what they play like as I have no interest in foreign clubs / leagues.

You asked people to discuss Chelsea so I gave my views that they are not a big club.

It is not assertive just my opinion (probably more condescending, but hay it was 3 o’clock in the morning). I could not be bothered retyping my views so I quoted from January and it is slightly out of context (just ignore the first sentence).

It is not a bad thing for you to have created the thread and I sorry if I gave that impression.

I hate Chelsea, group of scumbags   yuk

And you talk about corruption, Marek. But Chelsea is probably one of the most corrupted clubs in the world, considering where the money's coming from.
