They were promoted 3 years ago I think, from the Division 1 (now called the Championship)

So yeah, David you were right.

Harry Redknapp is a real magician though. Someone like Mouriniho or Wenger could not get the level of performance out of a inferior team like Redknapp can.

Although I say 'inferior' when Portsmouth are currently ahead of both Chelsea and Arsenal. lol

Hmm i'm still doubting whether you can create some magic in the football we have now if you don't have some dosh. And they don't exactly have much in ze back account do they? Redknapp is excellent though. Smile

Got absolutely nothing to do with Redknapp. They have a slightly poorer version of Abramovich and have made some great signings. Don't know why people are so shocked. The oligarchs have control of West Ham too. Where will it end? When they have every club? Just be there own game of chess amongst each other.
Anyway, Redknapp is about to be exposed of taking bungs on BBC.

C'mon Alex. He totally lifted the club at the end of last season, and somehow led them to escape from relegation. I think he deserves a bit of credit.
