Well in a couple of years time, many of those players will be on the verge of the full national side, if not already in it, so it's usually worth taking an interest in what's on the fringes.

You are deluded. Ireland were woeful in the WC and what's more, they haven't one since 1985 when it was the 5 nations and their last GS was in 1948! No chance!
