^ Food porn!  I like Nigella, she manages to make cooking seem sexy.

Good on him for coming out. I just can't believe in this Big Brother society he managed to go through an entire career without it getting into the tabloids and ruining him. I'm amazed no single photo of him with a guy or perhaps a former lover came out the woodwork to make a few pounds for their story.

I think it was fairly well known out of the tabloids....my mum knew about it! Plus he was married for years - probs gave the tabs no reason to suspect. Good on him though - the real shame in this is that it's such a taboo subject. Hopefully he'll inspire others in the game to be confident in who they are Smile

Just reading that it was apparently well know in rugby and throughout Cardiff. With all this talk of regularly visiting gay bars after matches in London, I still find it amazing not 1 photo or story appeared in the papers.

It's a ridiculous reflection on society that this made the papers. Who cares if any given person is straight, bi, gay or anywhere in between? I can't see how it matters a f**king jot, unless you have some sort of hangup.

^No one in the world of rugby who knows him seems to care. Some of his teammates knew Shrug tbh any negative reaction from anyone within rugby only reflects badly on them rather than anything to do with him.

He's been retired for a while, rugby hasn't been the same since. A brilliant commentator.

I'd compare him to Murray Walker, both gentlemen, both knew their sport inside out, and their respective sports hasn't been the same since their retirements.

RIP Bill McLaren.
