I have been a Scottish rugby fan all my days but, I don't know, it doesn't seem to matter who's coaching Scotland, they don't seem to get any better.
I think you might have a point there Alis, unfortunately.

Hogg is terrific isn't he? Problem is he often looks as if he's the only player on the Scottish team.
Shame about Maitland though. Scotland'll miss him.

^ Unfortunately the extent of Maitland's injured leg has still to be made known as he was only seeing a specialist today for a full assessment.

That was horrible! Wales were horrible. Ireland extinguished  them.
Sexton was magnificent. Well played Ireland.
Better luck Scotland yay

Perhaps Scotland weren't quite so bad last week after all!

15 minutes into the match and England go 10-0 up and Laidlaw hits the post with his second penalty.

That worm-eaten pitch really is in a dreadful state, not helped by a steady drizzle.

Yes the pitch is terrible the grass very sparse its like a quagmire. England winning at the moment worse luck. Maybe the Irish will beat them they demolished the Welsh so easily. Come on Scotland.

Fortunately once the Six Nations are over the SRU are replacing the pitch with a high quality hybrid turf composed of a mixture of real and artificial grass - at a cost of £1m.  The new pitch though should be a lot easier to maintain and is considered to be very durable.  At least two major English football clubs have it and say it's been a great success.  Watch ticket prices rise though!

Scotland down to 14 men, but I doubt it'll make much difference anyway. Rolling Eyes

Just from reading stuff online. #modest

I really don't see how they can play any more matches on it, but I suppose they'll have to unless an alternative venue can be found.

Dire performance by Scotland anyway.  Seemed to lack discipline in the first half although they're doing a little better in the second.
