I fancy Scotland to do well at the World Cup. A semi's appearance is a distinct possibility.... I hope!

You're having a laugh. If Scotland make the semis, then we'll make the final! lol

Heh, but seriously, you should beat Italy and get through the group in 2nd. But looking at the draw that will mean France next up for you, followed by an early Eurostar ticket. Still you'll last a day longer than us as we'll be going home after a battering by Australia the day before.

Mate, Scotland would hammer England right now, and we'd give France a good fight. Scotland are on form. I can;t wait to see how they do against the springbok.

We also gave France a "good fight" at home, only losing to a try in the last 5 minutes. In France however we were given a drubbing and made to look 2nd class, as will Scotland in the WC quarter final.
Scotland making the semis is no more likely than England doing the same.

Not as fed up as I'll be when they win the bloody thing. For now I'm just holding onto the hope that they'll cock it up like the previous 2 and praying someone will beat them. Anyone will do. The semi-final against Australia seems the best chance.

It's a poxy sport really when you can exactly predict the entire world cup draw with certainty in advance.

Still at the start of the year they were wondering who was going to win all the end of year sports awards after they had won the Cricket WC, America's Cup, Rugby WC and Netball WC. 2 of those are long gone now.
Hopefully simialr stories in the remaining 2. lol
