^ I watched BBH. I just messaged someone saying that I considerate one of -- if not "the" -- most exciting match of any sport I have witnessed this year that kept you on the edge of your seat till its outcome was finally decided in the last 25 seconds.

Lol tomthoms, no consolation there! Yes, I agree it was one of the most exciting matches I've seen this year. In huge contrast to the turgid Wales v Tonga (more lol, almost wrote Tsonga!)
Right up to the wire...and then...bum!

Very good match so far between Australia and Scotland at Murrayfield.

Damn - Aussies have just scored their second try, but failed to convert it.  18-12.  Scotland were very unlucky not to score one in the first half after some brilliant passing, but the player was tackled just short of the line.

Oz's Rob Simmons just been sent to the sin bin for hitting another player on the head, something the ref only noticed after looking twice at the replay, although it was clear from the camera angle to us viewers.

21-15 now.  CMON Scotland!

Scotland have been making a few substitutions and just failed to score a penalty from 12 metres inside the Aussie half.

Aussies well in command, unfortunately, but a poor kick at goal keeps the score at 21-15.

Momentum back with Scotland ... briefly.  Not managing to penetrate the solid wall of Aussie defence now.

And that's it.  Final score 21-15. (:   Scotland played very well but the Aussies were the better team.

It certainly was Tom.  I think you'd have been quite proud of our team today. Smile  They turned in a very much improved performance from the shambles against S. Africa - but maybe that gave them the kick up the backside they needed.  Roll on the Six Nations!

Absolutely devastated. 20 seconds from the final. I thought the missed conversion was going to end up being the difference. If only Hall had held onto that intercept he'd have run the length of the field and scored. Frown

Having heard all about it on the BBC news I can understand how you feel.  Also it would have been great to have had one of the home nations in the final.

Just like the first match against Australia, England were absolutely bossing the first half hour and should have been out of sight only to not take the opportunities created and go in at half time behind. That's what cost us both times. This time we came back and should have still one. Going to take a long time for the players to get over this one.

Neatly had heart failure watching Wales in the 6 nations. Italy obviously don't realise they're meant to get the wooden spoon Whistle
Just watching France giving England a bit of a pasting at the mo. But very early days and France always blows hot and cold. Love them when they play gorgeous attacking rugby though.

Woohoo - England now have a five point lead.  21-16.

90 secs left and France go into a 26-24 lead.
