Anyone think South Africa-Fiji could be a decent game next Saturday? Still reasonably priced tickets left so wondering if it might be worth going. Really gutted there's no England game in Wellington.

Could be, Fiji have been playing well, though SA will probably aim to come out strong to make up for the Wales match. Should be good rugby though

Half time:

Scotland Vs. Georgia   9 -- 3

(2 penalties and a drop-goal Vs. 1 penalty
0 -- 3
3 -- 3
6 -- 3
9 -- 3)

I suspect that the wet weather conditions are preventing Scotland from playing the running/passing game needed to securely dispose of these Georgian battering-rams. Hoping we can keep them under control and away from our try-line during the second half.

Come on, Scotland!  cmon yeah  Bagpipes

Parks made it in the end. Georgia played solid hard rugby, but they are too onedimensional to win against a team like Scotland.

Full time:
Scotland Vs. Georgia

15 -- 6

(Second half points:

All penalties
12 --   3
  6 -- 12
15 --   6)

Retaining a big percentage of procession brought about that "keeping them under control and away from our try-line"

Not a praise worthy game but a win is a win!  I fear it might be their last -- but, just maybe; If Wilkie, still hisnie fun his boots, in Scotland plays a blinder....?

COME ON, SCOTLAND!  cmon yeah  Bagpipes

A win is a win is a win Shrug yay yay Just hope Scotland can cut down the errors by the time they play England in 11 days nervous 2 from 2 is all very well but we've still got to face England and then Argentina and either of thse teams could put us out of it Frown

But for now we top the table with 9 points, think I'll be hoping Georgia can keep a hold on England on Saturday and stop them scoring too many tries

Judy Murray tweeted that Rory Lawson (Scotland captain today) used to go to her tennis coaching - it would have been interesting if he had chosen tennis instead of rugby.  Unlikely, though, given that his father was also captain of Scotland and his grandfather Bill McLaren!

Bit of light hearted World Cup news: http://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/rugby/fan-central/5611874/South-African-tourists-19-000km-off-track

Basically this couple from South Africa arrived in Wellington in time for the South Africa-Wales game and had booked into a hotel in Eastbourne (seaside suburb just outside Wellington). They drove round and round Eastbourne and couldn't understand why their GPS couldn't find the street. Turns out they booked a hotel in Eastbourne in England. The guy thought it was a bit funny they charged him in pounds. lol
